We “renew” in the dead of winter. We all make goals and try to be better than the person we were the previous year. Sometimes the goals include: lose weight, save money, travel more, etc. I find it interesting that when the days are long and everything is cold and dead, we try to begin again. In spite of the harsh elements, we stand firm in the changes that we desire. What a poetic and invigorating feat.
So this January I am writing on Renewal. A renewal of the mind, the body, the spirit, and the heart. And how a writer from 1,900 years ago taught us how this was possible.
Stay tuned this month for a blog series on Romans 12:1-2.
